Spoke with CommSec (International side) - pointed me to Automic, but not before explaining a bit of the process:
- Get in touch with the share registry who represents IHL. In this case Automic
- Authorise Automic to deposit 25 IHL shares to 1 IXHL (not sure on fees, but $500 mentioned with IB and their website says 1-2 business day - for American Depository Receipt - ADR)
- Nominate an US broker (CommSec for example, or other)
- Trade
High level summary of the process, which I think I understood correctly.
From Automic, it sounds like the ADS is a bit different to ADR process which may explain why they don't have the process or instructions agreed?
