I think in case of super funds, if I understand correctly IHL just becomes a available for purchase as it is part of ASX300. In fact one of the reasons I changed my super to SMSF was to be able to invest in companies such as IHL which weren’t available on my super. So it can draw interest from retail investors.

I don’t have the stats on how many funds mirror/ track the ASX300 to assess the potential buy volume due to the index inclusion.
