i think thats the key, these reports are only of shares taken short, not sold. and volumes clearly show they havent been sold. so there is no risk at this stage other than assumed fees. given usa market weakness and low volume period anything can happen. it is strange to see such a big drop than immediate open. id say less a reporting anomally and more a closing to limit fees, im not sure how shorting works in terms of fees but may scale based on time. or just to open them closer to current price donno
