ASX bets.... really?

Now I'm not a scientist, and neither are you, and though the person on that thread sounds scientifically educated, I also doubt he is.

But even I know that from the conversation they're having, they seem to be discussing efficacy and or/equivalent doses to EMD's drug, with side effects and "on" times etc

Phase 2 trials are often designed to determine efficacy and figure out the ideal formulations.. so why would you worry about some concerns on reddit? Just leave it to the professionals and wait for the phase 2 trials... also, that thread is useless without the scientific education to understand "on" times and uptakes. Believe what you will, but I'm not concerned over redditors and what they think they might know
