I got a reply from Joel within 5 minutes of sending my email query.
He is fine for me to share with you and other posters that currently have their SMSF with Commsec

I asked him

" Some HC posters that have their SMSF Broker A/c with Commsec, have pointed out that currently, Commsec is in the process of integrating International Trading for SMSFs and Family Trust A/c's, Coming Soon says the Commsec website.

This is going to be beneficial to some holders.

Do you have a higher-level contact person with Commsec that can perhaps give us some guidance as to a definite date of "Coming Soon" so that we can act one way or the other?"
