if you know the close price can u predict with 100% accuracy the open price tomoz..... no..... and certainly not 100% the close price tomoz.... 6 hours is a lifetime in trading..... overnight forex, OS markets, world events etc is a lifetime.
nasdaq open will be nasdaq open as "determined" by those in charge of the open.... those that are selling shares on open..... very very unlikely to be aussie mums and dads that will be trading on open, or even on the 1st day, 2nd day or maybe longer..... its just how it works at registries and fresh lists..... it all takes time. what is being said about when holders will have access to their nasdaq shares??
so who will have the shares that are to be put up for sale on the open for liquidity to determine the open price?? they are the makers...... they will decide what happens. sure they will look at asx close but only in the same way we look at the asx close today when determining the asx open tomoz.
