Ive asked my broker the same question, and he reckons insto’s never just hold stock in one nominee account. They transfer and shuffle it around to other nominee accounts even if they’re not selling their holdings. Seems strange to me but apparently common practice and would explain why doesn’t appear consistent in top holders list.
