I would argue that correcting a grossly inaccurate representation of the company's value proposition doesn't fall under complaining.
Maybe if he didn't directly address, he could have said something like "Currently we are valued with a market cap of 60~ million". Just a bold general statement. Despite how informed we imagine hedgies are when they comb through new stocks, you can reasonably assume that we've flown under countless radars because we're apparently worth either 300m USD or 2.9bn USD.
