Quite laughable? On the contrary, i would suspect that most companies would be adopting A.i to support a lot of their processes in this day and age. We're not talking about asking questions of chatgpt. They would be using a.i powered tools for all sorts of applications like trial design and management, patient recruitment, analysing complex data, faster diagnostics, accelerating research and development, literally countless possible applications. There would be less human error, it would likely reduce costs and hopefully bring new treatments to market more quickly. Now Incannex may yet turn out to be a scam, let's hope not, but A.i is certainly not hype.
