Not so much as 'why' people sell, but 'how' people sell.
There were 2.5M and 1.2M orders in a span of 1 hour to lift the share price nicely from 15c to 16c.
If anyone with half the brain sees it, it is an uptrend and there are people wanting to get in at those price point.

So if you were to execute a large sell order, prudent thing to do is to offload your shares in 400~500k lots and you would likely sell for 15.5c~16c strike price and keep the momentum going, or at least keep it steady.

But what does this individual do?
He dumps ~1.5M share at a market rate driving the share down from 16c to 14.5c at one hit. And if another bunch of novice had a stop-loss setup, that would have all executed too creating a butterfly effect down the road and finishing the day low.

Happy that 14c is achieved with 14M volume sell but wasn't for the selfishness of this individual, the day would have ended better for all.

I do understand panic sells when things are going downhill and everyone wanting to get out but when things are going up, little manner benefits everyone in the pool.
