I think exalted has done a great job in answering your question.

The only thing I can add, is that Australia is indeed thelucky country when it comes to Medical Cannabis testing. Here, not only are companies allowed to trial Cannabis formulations, butthe government also gives them a tax rebate for the research cost. By comparisome, testing is illegal in most USA states, and no government rebates are given. So we are really competitive in this space. Now, I dont think IHL is funding the trials, so they probably wont get the rebate, but they will get the IP.

Cannabis is one of the oldest medicines in the world. In fact, its only the last 75yrs that it has been considered illegal, and this was driven by the USA. So its medical properties are well known, but there is no proof to support this. The trialing of CBD and THC products, is only in its infancy. But, as these products start to become more mainstream, which is starting now, this testing data and IP becomes very important. Dosing at the moment is based more on trial and error, rather than science. A tested product, with medical grade and controlled ingredients will be prescribed just like any other medicine, with dosing guidlines. Being a early runner in this space, with IP protection is an exciting place to be. And gives an advantage many years ahead of the rest of the worlds markets.

Any single sucessful test, and commercialisation will give a healthy rerate. Revenue streams, with growth, is what is needed for the multi bagger returns spec share holders look for. If more tests come in sucessfully, and revenue grows, so does the market cap. A failed test, without another revenue stream could see a BOT like decline. But, if products are already tested and being sold, the market can be a bit more forgiving.

So once we get approvals, trials started and finished, with a sucessful outcome, we will be be lamenting not buying a few more shares now. And all this waiting around will be forgotton.
