Yep exactly as Oldpa outlined, and same as my post from last night regarding close of day trading. Take a look at the course of trades on each day on the desktop version of your site, you'll see that the very first and last trades all are tagged with something like "match" to show they were part of the opening and closing auctions.

Added note as well: opening auction can also be manipulated like the closing auction
