Hey!

I worked for a short time at a firm that was basically a big day trading operation.... The traders all sat at their desks and we're free to trade whatever they liked.

Thisbsort of thing happened every day!!

Usually a group of them would work together when they found a stock to push... There would be some news or something they liked and they'd all jump in together trading the stock frantically.

It reminded me of a piranha feeding frenzy!!!

They were only after intraday gains, as we were under instructions to NOT hold positions due to risk... and because those positions had to be financed with real money!!!

I didn't last long.... If you weren't part of the 'in' team it was a struggle (for me).
