That said majority of the big players (Toyota, VW etc) are investing heavily in Solid state batteries which don't need much graphite. I know these are 2-5 years away but a lot of research has already been done with Toyota planning to unveil its solid state battery vehicle sometime later this year. I know there are other players on the demand side but the most recent spike in graphite interest was due to the EV hype. I really hope that I am wrong.
