The price skyrocketed because China stopped dumping cheap government subsidized product on the international market.
It has become clear they won't likely resume exporting in the same quantity they used to.
Add the Russian war and 2 of the top 4 exporters have disappeared. Prices probably won't return to the artificial lows we saw a few years ago when China flooded the market.
