84mm was around Mt Isa not at mine site. Even if it was at mine site, each day brings 40+ degree heat so wouldn't take long to dry.
Also at last update the rock for the January and February shipments was already in containers.
January shipment of 5,800 left the port yesterday according to public port data. Next shipment of 17kt is due to load on 3-5 February also according to public port data.
Regarding the cyclone, BOM was caught on backfoot with their forecasting of last month's cyclone, so they are quite eager to avoid that, but their models ate the same, they just chose to publish it early this time. If you check the graph, it is still a tropical low and not a cyclone. BOM forecasts are wrong quite often due to the complex nature of ehat they are trying to forecast.
So stop scaremongering and check the actual data before posting....
