For every seller there is a buyer, the more volume and the larger the transactions at these levels the better. It means that someone is taking a long-term view. For example, if someone buys 1mln shares they are not there for 10-20% profit, more likely 100% +, because they would need the same large volume to exit.

So look at it as a good sign. I think people are taking positions in anticipation of the next few months.

Don't get me wrong. I think it's great that the volume is increasing but I was hoping it would have more of an effect on the SP. What you said about selling the shares and keep the options does make sense.
