There's no strong correlation between DAP price and rock phosphate price if you look at the historical data.

DAP price is driven by natural gas prices and seasonal demand.

Rock phosphate supply has changed forever. No China no Russia, yes BRIC will still buy Russian fertilizer, western countries won't though.

Unless China announces resumption of unrestricted phosphate exports the fundamental supply crunch still exists for rock phosphate. Possible but unlikely considering the need to ensure food security for China and their dwindling reserves.
