I always wondered if that would be possible. Afterall, there's plenty of car enthusiasts and classic vehicles in the world. I doubt I would want to hold onto my Subaru Outback that's getting to be long in the tooth. Probably the best option for me is to run into the ground til such a time that I can justify a new car.

Has anyone thought about how blissfully quiet the roads are going to be without the noise pollution of ICE vehicles on the road? Oh, and the bliss of hearing a bikie gang riding by on their Harleys. Lol.

There's bound to be more pedestrian deaths and i do worry more about animals (esp in the country) dying on our roads. The human population will adapt but not sure about our forna. Hopefully that's where automation and collision avoidance systems will come into play.
