I think you will find that they are results from our two entirely different feedstock types, ItsTime. The first being from recycled battery graphite and the second from natural graphite concentrate. The difference in purity achieved is unrelated... ie specific to the purpose-based process.
In saying that, though, of course, the mission would be to achieve the highest purity possible. The benchmark or minimum purity required for battery anode qualification is 99.95% (if my memory serves me right), so further testing of EGR's purification process confirms its suitability for the much needed supply of SPG. I believe SYR's is fractionally lower (but pls don't quote me on it). There is only one other co that I know of that produces higher purity.
I'm familiar with the fact that there are cost-savings related to the reagents used. And, it certainly would benefit EGR's margins to get the costs down regardless of necessity or not.
