Thank goodness the world has moved on a little from slavery in Africa, in saying that it was only a decade ago South African police killed 34 miners who were striking due to poor conditions and wanting a rise in wages from $400 aud a month, seems fair enough when the companies are making millions doesn't it. Wonder what aussie miners and companies were being paid and having to pay at the same time, a damn sight more than that I imagine. Labourers in Tanzanian mines still only get around 500
