In addition, Mahimbali has explained to the committee that, in order to ensure that the Government benefits from investment in the Mining Sector in the country and supervises the implementation according to the requirements of the Mining Law, the Government expects to issue mining licenses to the companies Duma TanzGraphite and Nyati Minerals Sand Limited that will carry out mining with Kudu Graphite Limited, which will do Central mining, adding that the Government will own 16 percent of each project. In another step, Secretary General Mahimbali has explained to the Committee the strategies of the Ministry to develop the Mining Sector including ensuring that it connects the Mining Sector with other economic sectors and mentioning some of them as Agriculture where mineral resources are used in the production of fertilizers for agricultural use.
