A Simon Moores X post providing an idea of how big the anode market is (noting most of this market is graphite) and how quickly its predicted to grow.
I'd have thought the USA market would be more than 4.5% of battery Kwh demand in 2030 meaning either USA is sourcing graphite from China (which would appear to make it non IRA compliant), the USA EV market never takes off or non-Chinese projects emerge that aren't yet in this forecast. I'd have thought it was this last option but this may require a different price point to what China is currently supplying at.
