(but having had some interest in graphite in the past), I just came across an article in yesterdays (28.10.23) "The Japan Times", and from which I hereafter quote a few sentences. Quotes The West's dependency on Chinese supply has seen graphite recently join the like of cobalt and rare earths on the U.S. Department of Energy's list of super-critical materials. Australia has used its 2 billion Australian dollar Critical Minerals Facility to lend A$ 185 million to Renascor Resources' Siviour graphite project and A$ 40 million to EcoGraf Ltd.'s battery anode plant. However, none will be in operation by the start of December, when China's restrictions come into place. End of quotes
