I think there is a discussion for both and it depends on your resource. Money can be made in mining if you are not aiming at the battery market as your main income as we can see SYR has struggled with that and there deposit is weathered and at depth so the cost of mining and liberating the graphite from the host is complex. Definitely you have to look at down stream processing as well which this company and the one I am invested in is exploring that.
