I would hope, mankind will be smart enough, but i doubt it a bit.
Lobbyism, populism and researchers and ensurance interests for example fight against each other. Can you imagine, that 1,5 degree temperature growing of median temperature growing of our planet will cause, that there is almost the volume of the Mount everest massive more water/steam in our atmosphear? A unbelievable mass of water, which is an gigantic grow of energy charge in the atmosphear.
Most people don't care about it. They take their thoughts about it from X or Facebook or other clown media.
But the water must come down somewhere but not there, where it should and not with a little refreshing rain that regreens the nature. It comes down like a flood, flushing the nature away. And the currant energy in our air is powerful enough yet to devastate the surface, where it discharges. How will it be, when there is more storagecapacity (water) inthe air. The Amazonas for example last year was almost empty. I live in the german Alps. in the 80s i remember almost every year, that we had enough snow during winter. But The last 25 years, there were 4 years with enough snow and only 2 times white xmas. No snow in the mountains, no juicy meadows during the year in germanys south and middlepart. I would be surprised, if mankind learn from it. But on the other side, the chinese and others increase producing synthetic graphite for batteries by burning oil for petcoke and blowing more energy and carbon into the air. Crazy to believe. It's time for natural graphite and recycling of the batteries and for decarbonisation. But thats very expensive and there are lobbyism interests. The lobbyism must take part of the transition to earn enough money. There is some movement, I see during the last years. The mind of mankind must be changed, but humans forget very fast and the people take notice about it,because their wallets become empty. That and the high costs of the transition are the main problems I see. Politicians have to show strenght and meet unpopular decisions. That's the question, if they will show it.
