I am surprised how many people underestimate Trump (not directed at the two of you)...
Trump & Co know very well how successful the IRA has been for the US, they also know that the future of transportation and energy storage is electric and renewables will cover most of earths energy and transportation needs, same thinking as most other Western countries...the big difference is the US understands that you have to use the Chinese system (make fossil energy cheap and available until you build up your renewable (complete) supply chain to get there and not the EU system (switch too renewable and kill off any other energy source==make it too expensive).
I still can't believe Germany is still sleepwalking towards a cliff and I now give it less than 50% chance of surviving. However, they (inc rest of the EU) will be spending a very large amount of $$ in the next few years to fight for survival.
It will be a very interesting year, EV sales continue to rise, even the media has slowed down their negative EV narrative, maybe due to one of the UK papers that got caught publishing wrong (negative) EV figures a couple of weeks ago? Battery storage is increasing at great speed, Tesla megapacks alone have a 2 year waiting period due to strong orders.
Ukraine/ Russia war will come to an end one way or the other this year
Israel/Hamas etc war will come to an end one way or the other this year
Bothe those events will have a very positive effect on markets and the demand for materials to rebuild what has been destroyed will be something that we have not seen since WW2...Graphite in various forms will be needed for many applications in the above.
Might Aswell throw in a couple of interest rates cuts...that will not hurt the sentiment.
