Talk about shortening the focal length to broaden the view, Coit. I agree with your big picture but it is the way of the world - it is a waste but money is what makes the world go round.
As for the marketing campaigns specific to Tanzania and its current President, is it so bad? The marketing dollars are a mere drop in the ocean in the big picture which is attracting finance to the region, don't you think? Or are you referencing something else entirely unrelated?
