There are a lot of known graphite deposits out there so Ukraine having some doesn't really change that element of the picture. What is critical is the grades of the graphite, their chemical composition with respect to how easily they can be concentrated / purified, their amenability to shaping, the depth of the deposits, the width and orientation of the deposit and the associated strip ratios (among other factors). For example, a 10m wide seam of graphite that was 50km long is going to be a lot less valuable than a 2.5km long seam of graphite that is 200m wide but both may have the same numerical graphite content.
