    I would think the flake graphite purification process is similar for all companies - EGR flowsheet outlined below.

    Roasting/baking/heating, whatever one wants to call it.

    RNU have gone the way of caustic (sodium hydroxide) roasting. Other graphite players, such as TON, have commissioned similar testwork.

    Generic process is heating in the presence of a reagent - water quench/leach (cooling and dissolution of reagent and impurities in water) - filtration wash (removal of leachate).

    I don't place much weight on cost comparisons at this point - should all be rather similar and companies are not always upfront at the feasibility stage.
