Apparently, David proposed to his fiance 53 years ago. He has set a date for the wedding 172 times over that 53 years.
Finally David was well prepared and had a clear plan. "The date will be the 1st of April or thereafter", he exclaimed.
What year and what decade are yet to be determined.
He was heard to say, "It is dependent upon if I still have any friends, availability of church labour, if my coin collection sells and if the flowers are in bloom for your bouquet"
"Definately sometime after the 1st of April though!"
