We have seen the O&G sector run into multitudes of problems in the USA and Europe through regulations or out and out adhoc bans on development, but this is by no means the end of it. It is tempting to believe that investments in "renewable" or other types of new energy will not face the same obstacles, but on the fringes we already see with the election of leftist governments in South America, even these projects can be arbitrarily stopped due solely to politics. Chile is (or was) otherwise quite open to business previously and maybe still is in general, but sovereign level natural resources projects - forget it, at least for a while.

Which leaves those projects that already have approvals, plans and customers in place to exploit what may be a further restricted market for lithium and similar minerals in prime position. Firefinch/Leo are operating in a country that makes headlines due to political strife, but even with all that, operations have continued without pause throughout (as was the case with Morila before).

It's a far cry from the straight NO the Serbs just handed down in Europe.
They aren't the first and they won't be the last either.

And of course sovereign risk here in the Peoples Republic of Victoria. Kalbar, a sandpit for goodness sake stopped by the idiot left govt here. Why? because people felt it would effect their land. Green groups like these will prevent more and more projects for environmental reasons like some weird unheard of flower or animal. So LLL will become more and more valuable because the govt and the people want it.
I think Rick Rule said he never lost a project in Africa but he has in Canada.
