Morning ALL,

There is a possibility that we may get a positive update re agreement on election dates in Mali as early as tomorrow , The ECOWAS have called an extraordinary Summit on Mali and Burkina Faso for this Friday, see link below.

The difference between the two sides is now just 6 months, with ECOWAS preferring a 16 month maximum time frame and the Malian Authorities opting for a 2 year period. Lets see if common sense prevails and they reach a 'political compromise' of 18 months.
