Yes underlying commodities are doing well. If the worst does come to be we have a very large already producing gold mine. Gold would be one of the few things that could do really well in that scenario.
Irrationality all-round at the moment. Its one thing to sell overvalued (mainly tech) stocks but the thrown out bath water is littered with babies at the moment!
