So the last year has been spent guessing at the demerger process/timeline, instead of gaining expert legal advice and understanding exactly what is required and how long this would take?
What if the delay is intentional…Mike has leveraged LLL to raise capital multiple times to sure-up FFX post demerger, I mean “ramp up production”, however the forecast gold production for this Q is the same as last Q, and significantly below where we need to be to achieve 100k ounces per annum (and yes I get that they are removing overburden and dewatering etc etc).If they are struggling to get the gold production rate up, then they could hold off on LLL in an attempt to have gold production at a suitable level, timing a positive announcement for FFX when the demerger is announced/finalised.Alternatively, a miss on gold production at the same time as the LLL demerger would result in a significant sell down of FFX post LLL ex entitlement date.
