Latest update on Malian elections, ECOWAS are sending their mediator Goodluck Jonathan to Bamako tomorrow, looks very promising for a end to the current impasse on election time frames see link below.

The ECOWAS Commission has decided to send Thursday, February 24, 2022, its mediator for Mali, HE Mr Goodluck Jonathan to Bamako, specifies a press release dated this Monday, February 21, 2022. "This mission follows the technical meetings which held last week on the timetable of the elections and will allow us to discuss the next steps with the Malian authorities.The Mediator will be accompanied by the President of the Commission and the Commissioner in charge of Political Affairs, Peace and Security”, specifies, in its press release, ECOWAS.
