I've been a little concerned that we might get a speeding ticket from ASX due to the rise today on no official announcement, so I rang the company and had a chat to MA.

The company considers that just the approval is not the full deal, there are various parts, so the cash in the bank is considered newsworthy, so announcement after funds received. Firefinch maintained that approval was imminent, so getting it is no biggie by itself. (this is my interpretation of our conversation!)

The board discussed when to release announcement at length, but decided to wait for funds, as the deal is the important part, not just approval for it..

They are ready if the ASX issues speeding ticket.

Gold production report for quarter is not ready yet, waiting for reconciliation from refinery in South Africa, hopefully well before quarterly report..
