I think maybe at a guess there is about 2 % of the total global fleet of cars that are electric?
There is a massive amount of Li needed to convert the remaining global fleet of cars. Not to mention buses and possibly trucks...

Another thing too is that Li batteries are still number one for storage in grids and household storage etc - I don't see that changing before another decade is out , either.
