Carnaby’s discovery underscores the massive potential for the region which is one of Australia’s premier copper districts that I believe has been largely overlooked – untested by drilling or geophysics. MD, Rob Watkins commented in the Announcement that ‘the deposit appears to be getting bigger and better at depth’.
However, as they’ve still have some work to do to confirm it, nevertheless, in the image below, you can see how close their discovery is to Cooper’s tenure. I like the how the ‘Argylla’ and ‘Corrella’ formations (Mary Kathleen Domain) travels up through our large tenure holdings.
This region which is surrounded by world class infrastructure, is rapidly emerging as a world-class copper hot spot. Let’s see what 2022 brings. Exciting times!
