The last paragraph says it all,

Rick Pobjoy… believes clay-hosted rare earths 'are superior to hard rock,

    • as they have easier production
    • are shallow in nature
    • contain certain heavy rare earths for use in electric vehicles and wind turbines, and
    • there are no radioactive waste streams.'

@ArgylePink, I think RP also answers your concern when he says that … 'clay-hosted rare earths have only recently come on the radar for investors.' So, it's presenting 'a key challenge from an education standpoint for the market.' Therefore, it seems all kinds of investors (including BEOT) have a lot to learn.

China have been in the rare earths game for decades and know the mining and processing structures inside out. This means that hard rock resources are most at risk of being China's folly which is why I've suggested that ionic clay-hosted should be considered as Tier1 projects, and hard rock as the lessor tier.

Also, because of the 'easier production' methods and no radioactive waste concerns that have haunted LYC's project for instance, and will continue to haunt them, things will be able to move much faster with ours then many may realise.

    All IMO, GLTA(patient)H
