I believe MD has answered part of your questions in the above Paydirt article. Which is: Ionic clay-hosted REE plays are new to the market here and it can be different from traditional point of view on "trial mine" (hark-rock mostly) for the very reason he pointed out.
However I believe the questions are legit questions. But instead of in a bit of 'speculating' on what the management is doing or asking in here (everything known so far are all announced publicly) so i reckon probably the best/efficient way (if you are interested in AR3 or if you'd like to help SHs here to not to be "trapped in") is to contact MD Rick Pobjoy directly/personally to clarify the things you have in doubt and i believe he's approachable (from what i can see from other poster's feedback most recently). Of coz it will be a different story if the management play around in answering your legit questions which i doubt he/they will (remember there are directors at stake largely too). But aimho.
