‘Our aim is to deliver one of the early exChina rare earth mining projects into the market at a time when their will be a shortage, in particular the heavy rare earths dysprosium and terbium which the Koopamurra project has within the resource.’
There is a promising long-term market outlook for rare earths due to China's dominance in mining and processing, as well as government efforts to diversify. This could lead to the establishment of a multigenerational rare earths province at Koopamurra.
