I have been following AR3 with great interest and thank you to all posters. Just wondering if you're all aware of ABX who has discovered rare earths in northern Tasmania around Launceston. Initial grades are higher than AR3, although the resource has not yet been defined. And most importantly, most of the deposits are under timber plantations, not under farmland, so there will be less objection from landowners.

From recently release ABX annual report, page 11: "the Company has confirmed that it now controls a rare earth province that is at least 52 km wide following its fourth discovery of high-grade rare earths in the vicinity of its Deep Leads deposit. Importantly, it appears that all of the rare earth deposits are the IAC type, similar to those in southern China. This type of deposit is rare: ABx has been advised that it is one of only three publicly listed companies in the world that is focussed on these IAC deposits".

Full disclosure - I am an ABX shareholder. Not yet an AR3 shareholder but may soon be if the price keeps falling... Looks like AR3 is about a year ahead of ABX.
