While the romantic part of me likes what you suggest, large institutions is why companies list,so t..hey can raise money. Otherwise they just stay unlisted.
Relying on a couple of major offtake private placemennts for funding through, the pre-development and development phases would be high risk. Many MOUs don't eventuate. I have many companies that just can't seem to strike the right finance deal.
