I cannot agree, insofar as the number quoted is a per annum return, so divide that by about 9 or 10 to arrive at whatever "gain" people might anticipate making until the scheme vote happens. Against that is that any increase in Bid price is likely to be a multiple of that return and that or an alternative offer, or "on market" trading price increase may actually emerge any time. I have no idea what will happen but anyone who sells now may immediately rue their decision if another party enters the fray. If say Mineral Resources does make a counter offer, then a bidding war is very likely to follow and who knows where it would end. We saw that with Warrego Energy and I see this situation as analogous to that.
