One point you miss is the imminent introduction of electric technology to trucking. Tesla already has heavy duty trucks operating commercially and is ready to roll out trucks at high volume and has a huge order book. I saw an article a few days ago saying that Volvo is putting heavy electric trucks on trial and is ready to roll them out at scale. This is a much more compelling economic proposition than the electric car. It also uses vastly more lithium per unit. I see these being rolled out very quickly if the manufacturers can get their hands on sufficient lithium, and other scarce minerals. This is just another jump in demand which, I believe, has not been properly factored into the demand predictions.
