Firstly, apart from a shareholding, I have no association with ESS management. Secondly, the most plausible explanation for the source of the gold in the alluvial deposits at Egina is from the deposition of gold from sea water about two million years ago. This deposition was caused by the reduction of the acidity of the sea water which caused the gold to be deposited out. Nothing to do with erosion of orogenic gold deposits or similar. The gold deposits hosted in igneous rocks which are the deposits currently in the De Grey portfolio extend into the Novo leases at Egina. The current exploration indicates that there is very little chance of significant extension into the ESS ground. Al this is from publicly available information if you have the wit to understand.
