Spot on how this plays out... you got this tension between gold bulls who are thinking in the long term i.e. real risk of Recession against how gold is impacted by rising DXY and the holding opportunity costs as bond yields rises...

I hearing some commentary that Fed is willing increase cash rate to 3% i.e. to it willing to continue tightening to fight inflation.. The problem here interest payments and US deficits.. I think there is limitation how much Fed is able to tighten monetary policy to combat inflation before running in trouble with other issues.
