Said law has been designed specifically to stymie any future arbitration claims.
Not a very congenial environment for mining operations.
Its cash USD in hand versus a hole in the ground on someone else's land.
Plenty of jurisdictions in Africa are opening up with more investor friendly mining laws.
No dearth of agencies willing to compete for the opportunity to collect on any award against a sovereign, unlike a few years back.
Should be able to secure 80 - 85% of any award for shareholders.
The directors are getting on in age and may view the award as a golden handshake.
