it certainly is a major purchase and has appeared out of nowhere….and with almost zero explanation.
maybe they just couldn’t resist the Thai’s offer of zero import duty!
why do we not know the terms of the loan? Is the Bangkok public bank owned by the govt? Maybe the bank is offering a sweetener loan as part of the upcoming tAFTA settlement?
That is the best-case scenario.
